It does not contain any harmful substances or inorganic fibres and is free from formaldehyde and toxic emissions. DESCRIPTION

WeatherPan® lightweight sandwich panel is designed for the application of external walls or internal partitions. Its weight is only 1/5 to 1/7 of traditional 120mm masonry wall, which greatly reduce the foundation costs, transportation costs and shorten construction time. The panel is easy to install and no skilled labour is required. On average, an experienced labour can install at least 25m2 panels per day which is 15 times quicker than traditional masonry wall erection. It provides the benefits of masonry wall without incurring the additional costs of labour and time in wet trade plastering. The panels when joined together not just provide a smooth surface receiving skim coat but also maintain an excellent integrity of the partition making its impact resistance 1.5 times better than that of traditional block wall. A 75mm thick WeatherPan® achieves two hours fire rating, according to Australia, British and European Standards as well as an acoustic performance, water tightness and physical strength of a 120mm block wall which in return increase usable area by minimum 5-10%. This wall system offers great benefits of housing developer in project finance.

Most decorative finishes work well with WeatherPan®, simply emulsion painting, tiling or complicated panel cladding can be easily applied on the panel. When construction of curved wall or where using prefabricated WeatherPan® units are limited, WeatherPan®-S a field applied panel system with in-situ grouting WeatherCore can be adapted on site. WeatherPan®-ST having steel reinforcement inside the panel provides extremely strong resistance to impact load such as the floor deck construction. WeatherPan® comprises of 5mm thick WeatherPro®-L water resistant fibre cement reinforced calcium silicate board facings with WeatherCore, a lightweight concrete mix of Portland cement, silica sand and expanded polystyrene bead aggregates. No toxic gas is produced when it is subject to heat or fire. Each WeatherPan® comes with special tongue and groove on two edges. This sophisticated jointing system make panels easily straight erected and fast to lock the panels up even at tall wall construction. Thus enhances wall stability and heavy impact resistance. The panel is able to resist rot and fungal infection and retains its shape at all times wherever exposed to damp or heat weather.
